Rukhsar Rehman: At 17, she debuted with Rishi Kapoor and at 19 she ran away from home

Not all Bollywood stories are made of glitz and glamour—some are built on courage, sacrifice, and resilience. Actress Rukhsar Rehman, who once starred opposite Rishi Kapoor at the start of her career, lived through a life-altering journey that took her away from the spotlight and brought her back with renewed strength. Despite early success, she was forced to abandon acting due to family pressure, endured a broken marriage, and eventually ran away with her infant daughter to rebuild her life. Rukhsar Rehman was just a teenager when she appeared on screen with Rishi Kapoor in films like Yaad Rakhegi Duniya and Inteha Pyar Ki. At 17, fresh out of school, she was already playing lead roles in major productions. The industry considered her a rising star, but Rukhsar herself was still discovering what success meant. Unfortunately, her time in the spotlight was cut short—not because of failure, but because her parents didn’t view acting as a respectable career path. Despite appearing in two...

Deepika Padukon Vs Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Sandeep Reddy Vanga(Animal's director) was all set for his upcoming film titled Spirit with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. However, he recently made headlines after reports of Sandeep’s fallout with Deepika Padukon made waves. Sandeep Reddy Vanga got the shock of his life when Deepika Padukone refused to shoot for more than six hours a day for Spirit. That’s not all—the actress, via her agency, also began to demand amendments to the contract. Their main contention was simple: if the shoot extended beyond 100 days, Deepika would need to be paid extra for every single day beyond the agreed schedule.” While another report stated that she was not comfortable doing A-rated scenes in the film. Maalik Movie Review: Rajkummar Rao Shines, But the Gangster Drama Falls Flat

A Fire Without Fuel Maalik enters the screen with swagger—guns, politics, a gritty backdrop of 90s Allahabad, and the promise of a gripping gangster rise. But once the smoke clears, what remains is a film that struggles to rise beyond its clichés. Despite Rajkummar Rao’s electrifying presence, Maalik ends up as yet another “rise and fall” story we’ve seen far too often. The story follows Deepak , a humble farmer’s son who’s pulled into the dark underworld of Allahabad. Betrayals, political manipulations, and a thirst for power transform him into “Maalik”—the feared don. Sounds exciting, right? Sadly, the screenplay recycles every gangster trope in the book. From the corrupt politicians to the betrayed best friend, everything feels expected rather than explosive . It’s not that the story lacks potential—it just plays it too safe. Performances: Rajkummar Rao Saves the Film The brightest spot in Maalik is undoubtedly Rajkummar Rao . He slips into Deepak’s skin with ea...
