Kannappa Staring Vishnu Manchu, Akshay Kumar, Mohan lal, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, and Mohan Babu and more,is based on the legend of a devotee of Lord Shiva who sacrifices his eyes as a mark of his unwavering devotion. Now if i honestly share my review its such a waste of time and energy because movie it self dont know its direction, it has some vulgur scenes which i think don't suit on a devotional movie.thats it.
Kannappa Box Office Collection: Kannappa, the Telugu mythological film starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, experienced a decline in box office earnings on its second day. According to box office tracker Sacnilk, after earning ₹9.35 crore on its opening day across all languages in India, early estimates suggest the film brought in approximately ₹7 crore on Saturday, taking its total domestic net collection to ₹16.35 crore in two days.Unlike other mythological dramas,Kannappa was awarded a U/A 13+ certificate by the censor board, which demanded several cuts due to objectionable words and scenes. An 11-member revision committee reviewed the film and recommended the removal or modification of around 13 scenes and certain dialogues.Several words like Pilaka, Gilaka, Chavata, Neecha Jati were asked to be replaced with more appropriate and unobjectionable words. The censor board concluded that Kannappa was more violent than devotional. To avoid controversies, a disclaimer has been added at the beginning of the film. It briefly says that the story is based on the Srikalahasti Mahatyam by Dhurjati and the Basava Puranam, and that certain cinematic liberties have been taken. A disclaimer claiming the team received permission from the chief priest of Srikalahasti will also be shown in the beginning of the film.
